Which types of schooling are supported at the nensel academy?
We offer two models: regional schools in Peine (Gymnasium or Realschule) for students aged 12 and up, as well as flexible online schools, which are ideal for senior grades or international players. This ensures that education is perfectly aligned with the training and tournament schedule.
At what age can players live in the tennis boarding house, and what are the facilities like?
Moving into our academy rooms is possible from the age of 15. Players live in modern double rooms, including a private shower/WC and full board. The communal kitchen and lounge areas ensure that our young talents feel at home and can build lasting friendships.
How do you ensure that school is not neglected despite tournament travel?
At regional schools, being excused for tournaments is generally not a problem for students with good grades, as we maintain close communication with the schools. Online schooling even allows for multi-week tournament trips without mandatory attendance. In both cases, we adapt training sessions to the individual’s school schedule.
Does the academy support the path to a university in the USA?
Yes. We intensively prepare our players for obtaining a college scholarship in the USA. Thanks to our international network, we have already successfully placed numerous players at US colleges. This creates the perfect bridge between an academic degree and elite-level sports.
